Job Description
The Area Sales Representative will be responsible for the following: - Developing, implementing, and managing revenue-generating sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients (dermatologists, plastic surgeons, aesthetic practitioners) to maximize customer retention and identify upselling opportunities. - Prospecting for new customers, penetrating untapped markets, and creating lasting business relationships through effective communication and creative problem-solving. - Conducting thorough territory analysis and prioritizing key prospects to optimize sales performance within the assigned region. - Performing product demonstrations with medical practices, conducting field training for new/existing customers, and assisting at trade shows. - Collaborating with marketing initiatives, supporting professional society meetings/trade shows, and contributing to the development of key opinion leaders in the industry. - Utilizing Salesforce or similar CRM systems to maintain accurate sales data, forecast sales performance, and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven track record: Demonstrated success in outside sales, business development, or medical device/pharmaceutical sales with a history of achieving/exceeding sales targets.
- Medical Sales Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience selling to physicians, preferably within the aesthetics industry. Prior photography or imaging technology experience is desirable but not required.
- Exceptional Communication & Negotiation Skills
- Sales Analysis Proficiency
- Strong Technical Aptitude: Comfortable discussing technical aspects of medical devices and willingness to learn new technologies as they emerge.
- Self-Motivation & Independence: Highly self-motivated individual with the proven ability to work independently and achieve results with minimal supervision.
